Some of Kristen's earliest memories are of her acting out Walt Disney Movies with her Dad at their home in Pennsylvania. Beauty and The Beast, Aladdin, She also remembers as a small child sitting with her Mom and watching a show about the making of Annie and her Mom talking about how hard it looked for the kids, and Kristen telling her Mom that was what she wanted to do... But it wasn't until the age of 4 when Kristen's local dance class in Pennsylvania was picked to be a part of a local TV show there, Al Albert, that Kristen officially got into acting. Al Albert was a local talent show and Kristen and her class where a part of the show once. She was then chosen to be part of the show each week. An agent saw Kristen on the show, and wanted her to go on an audition for the Broadway show Annie. Kristen then talked her Mom into taking her to the audition. Kristen ended up landing the role of Molly. Kristen played the role of Molly through their run on Broadway and then went with the show on tour. Kristen stayed with the play for about 1 year. Two weeks after coming home, Kristen was 6, she auditioned for the role of Starr on One Life To Live. The producers recognized her as Molly from Annie and she landed the role. Kristen began playing the role of Starr Manning in March of 1998. Kristen loves her role as Starr but in her future she would like to branch out and try making film or television movies. She would even consider doing a Broadway show if it stayed in town. But right now she is just enjoying her role as Starr, hanging out with her best friend, Brittany, and being 16. |
